CAIT REAS is a Los Angeles based ceramics studio. Drawing on a background in design and fashion, Cait Reas creates ceramic objects and design goods. Hand built pieces are both functional and sculptural. Deeply inspired by textures found in nature: eroded stone, marble, charcoal, peeling bark as well as textile design, pieces are finished to reflect these influences. Many works are unglazed to highlight the contrast of the clay bodies used.
